• Parents, be healthy role models for your children The best way to motivate your children is to set a healthy example yourself. It’s never too late to start! Choose healthy foods to feed your family and get out to play with your kids, they will love it, you will benefit too!
• Turn off the T.V Place limits on television and computer time. Family time spent around the television is not quality time spent together. Instead have regular family meals around the dinner table, serving a variety of healthy foods, followed by a family activity involving movement and fun.
